MTB chainrings are coming
Stance components main focus has been towards the drivetrain of bikes. Namely the BMX race crew. Why? Well we have to young lads who both raced BMX. We wanted to produce some cool parts that offered something different in the way of looks and performance and also actually made in Europe, or even closer, the UK.
So how come MTB rings now? They have always been on the agenda. My own passion for cycling is MTB's, hitting jumps and ragging down the trails having as much fun as possible. In fact the whole family have taken this same approach and love the feeling and fun that comes with mountain biking.
As you can imagine, when you have a passion for something, the know how and a way to produce parts, then at some point its inevitable to make certain components for your own bikes.
The result. Chain rings suitable for sram and Cinch fitments.
As with majority of our components, we have decided to coat the chainrings with Cerakote. We are a small UK company so our volumes are small. Having the ability to coat a small number at a time, in a colour or finish of choice is a great bonus. It is all done in house which means we have full control. Something we weren't able to do with anodising.
So when will they be available?
We have them mounted to a few bikes at present and are testing them. The results so far are looking good. We aren't going to rush releasing them, but we do hope that they should be available later this year (2023 if you're wondering). If you haven't done so already, give us a follow on Instagram and Facebook or sign up to our news letter so you can keep up with our latest releases and news.
If you are looking for other drivetrain parts, we currently have single speed rear cogs and spacer kits that are perfect for dirt jumps bikes, Slopestyle bikes etc. Take a look at our drivetrain options here.
Even though our chainrings are designed for the BMX race crew, they will also be at home on other bikes that run a 3/32 chain and use a 4bolt or 5 bolt fitment. Check them out if your interested.
